Saturday

How blessed and relieved are those who have confessed their corruption to God! For he wipes their slates clean and removes hypocrisy from their hearts.

Before I confessed my sins, I kept it all inside; my dishonesty devastated my inner life, causing my life to be filled with frustration, irrepressible anguish, and misery.

The pain never let up, for your hand of conviction was heavy on my heart. My strength was sapped, my inner life dried up like a spiritual drought within my soul.

Pause in his presence

Then I finally admitted to you all my sins, refusing to hide them any longer. I said, “My life-giving God, I will openly acknowledge my evil actions.” And you forgave me! All at once the guilt of my sin washed away and all my pain disappeared!

Pause in his presence

This is what I’ve learned through it all: All believers should confess their sins to God; do it every time God has uncovered you in the time of exposing. For if you do this, when sudden storms of life overwhelm, you’ll be kept safe. (‭‭Psa 32:2) ❤️

Saturday

If we boast that we have no sin, we’re only fooling ourselves and are strangers to the truth. But if we freely admit our sins when his light uncovers them, he will be faithful to forgive us every time. God is just to forgive us our sins because of Christ, and he will continue to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (‭‭1 John‬ ‭1:8)

Many say, “OK I might have done this little thing, but that’s NOTHING compared to what THEY have done!” But there are no grey areas. As I understand it, the term ‘sin’ came from Archery. If you missed the mark – you sinned! Whether it was by an inch or a mile, you missed the mark – you sinned!

It’s time to clean house, Child of the Living GOD and remember: “And God has made all things new, and reconciled us to himself, and given us the ministry of reconciling others to God. In other words, it was through the Anointed One that God was shepherding the world, not even keeping records of their transgressions, and he has entrusted to us the ministry of opening the door of reconciliation to God. We are ambassadors of the Anointed One who carry the message of Christ to the world, as though God were tenderly pleading with them directly through our lips. So we tenderly plead with you on Christ’s behalf, “Turn back to God and be reconciled to him.” (‭‭2 Cor ‭5:18) ❤️

Sunday

When people work, they earn wages. It can’t be considered a free gift, because they earned it. But no one earns God’s righteousness. It can only be transferred when we no longer rely on our own works, but believe in the one who powerfully declares the ungodly to be righteous in his eyes. It is faith that transfers God’s righteousness into your account!

… What happy fulfilment is ahead for those whose rebellion has been forgiven and whose sins are covered by blood. What happy progress comes to them when they hear the Lord speak over them, “I will never hold your sins against you!” (Rom 4:4)

Nothing we ever get caught up in will ever shock our GOD, and once we’ve submitted to his life and made him Lord, then no future sins will ever surprise him either. He knows our struggles – and all he asks is that we trust him enough to lead us out of them. ❤️

Monday

God designed us to feel remorse over sin in order to produce repentance that leads to victory. (2 Cor 7:10)

Many years ago, an archer would take aim at a target and if they missed it would be classed as sin – whether it was by an inch or a mile!

Sin therefore means to simply ‘miss the mark.’

Whenever we ‘sin’ we miss the mark that our loving Father has set for us, and we can’t whine, sulk or even pout at his choice of mark either – because his Holy Spirit is IN us to help us get there.

Child of the Living GOD, take aim again in His Strength. ❤️

Thank you for your Grace and Mercy Lord … ❤️

Tuesday

Lord, who dares to dwell with you? Who presumes the privilege of being close to you, living next to you in your shining place of glory? Who are those who daily dwell in the life of the Holy Spirit? (Psa 15:1)

I’d just left Bible College and we were offered a break with some other students in the south of France. Anyway, the Pastor of a small Church asked me to speak some words of words of encouragement at the Sunday service.

We all prayed most of the night and I was excited. Then, Jesus came to Church… I remember the whirlwind of falling to my knees in abject loathing at myself – all my true thoughts, motives and desires parading in front of me!

The thing is, LOTS of people ran out of the place in fear – the few that stayed were blessed, healed and set free.

I learned a great lesson that day – GOD is AWESOME! ❤️

Sunday

Here’s what I’ve learned through it all: Don’t give up; don’t be impatient; be entwined as one with the Lord.

Be brave and courageous, and never lose hope. Yes, keep on waiting—for he will never disappoint you! (Psa 27:14)

Why do we give up – because we want our own way?

Why are we impatient – because we’re selfish and want it now!

Why do we separate ourselves from our entwinement – because we’ve learned nothing from Eve and like her, we can be easily led.

Why do we need to be brave and courageous – because we need to learn not to run away from hurt and pain and to stand with Jesus and face whatever stands against us ‘both’ full on!

Why do we need to keep hopeful – because GOD has ‘shown’ us how much He cares and even when he seems to fade away He is still bigger than anything that could ever try and rip us away from Him.

Bottom line – He doesn’t want robots, He gave us free will and revealed Himself to us so that we could decide for ourselves whether or not we would choose Him.

So to you – Child of the Living GOD, I say choose Life! ❤️

Friday

Jesus said, “…Take it from me: Unless a person is born from above, it’s not possible to see what I’m pointing to—to God’s kingdom.” “How can anyone,” said Nicodemus, “be born who has already been born and grown up? You can’t re-enter your mother’s womb and be born again. What are you saying with this ‘born-from-above’ talk?” Jesus said, “You’re not listening. Let me say it again. Unless a person submits to this original creation—the ‘wind-hovering-over-the-water’ creation, the invisible moving the visible, a baptism into a new life—it’s not possible to enter God’s kingdom. When you look at a baby, it’s just that: a body you can look at and touch. But the person who takes shape within is formed by something you can’t see and touch—the Spirit—and becomes a living spirit.

“So don’t be so surprised when I tell you that you have to be ‘born from above’—out of this world, so to speak. You know well enough how the wind blows this way and that. You hear it rustling through the trees, but you have no idea where it comes from or where it’s headed next. That’s the way it is with everyone ‘born from above’ by the wind of God, the Spirit of God.” (John 3:3)

It’s a prerequisite that we can’t avoid to keep. X

Thursday – 23/2/17

“… Jesus—‘God saves’—because he will save his people from their sins.” (‭‭Mat 1:20)

If we define ‘sin’ as wanting to aim for a target – and missing. Then it explains an awful lot of all the resolutions we’ve ever made and yet never accomplish …

“I’ll love you forever!” “I PROMISE that I’ll NEVER do that again!” “I’ll NEVER go back to that …! “I’ll stop drinking/ smoking/ lying /the drugs/ the porn/ …!”

The thing is, a fish caught on a line CANNOT get free in its own strength! Even if the line gets broken, the hook stays in!

So, Who can save us from our ‘sins?’

Only One Who has the Power! And Who ‘knows’ and LOVES us enough to want to!

Jesus WANTS to … X

Wednesday – 10/8/16

But you, dear friends, carefully build yourselves up in this most holy faith by praying in the Holy Spirit, staying right at the center of God’s love, keeping your arms open and outstretched, ready for the mercy of our Master, Jesus Christ. This is the unending life, the real life!

Go easy on those who hesitate in the faith. Go after those who take the wrong way. Be tender with sinners, but not soft on sin. The sin itself stinks to high heaven.

And now to him who can keep you on your feet, standing tall in his bright presence, fresh and celebrating—to our one God, our only Savior, through Jesus Christ, our Master, be glory, majesty, strength, and rule before all time, and now, and to the end of all time. Yes. (Jude‬ ‭1:20)

Keep in mind what GOD has decided is sin! Sin in GODs eyes is man’s wilful choice to go his own way – to therefore be his own god.

But we who have been touched by His Love ‘know’….! And because we’ve been touched by His Grace, we reach out to those around us in this same Grace.

We love one another in His Power, so that all men will know that we are not of this world (drawing power from it), but that we focus and belong to our Lord Jesus the Christ of GOD.

Hallelujah! X
