Jesus said, “…Take it from me: Unless a person is born from above, it’s not possible to see what I’m pointing to—to God’s kingdom.” “How can anyone,” said Nicodemus, “be born who has already been born and grown up? You can’t re-enter your mother’s womb and be born again. What are you saying with this ‘born-from-above’ talk?” Jesus said, “You’re not listening. Let me say it again. Unless a person submits to this original creation—the ‘wind-hovering-over-the-water’ creation, the invisible moving the visible, a baptism into a new life—it’s not possible to enter God’s kingdom. When you look at a baby, it’s just that: a body you can look at and touch. But the person who takes shape within is formed by something you can’t see and touch—the Spirit—and becomes a living spirit.
“So don’t be so surprised when I tell you that you have to be ‘born from above’—out of this world, so to speak. You know well enough how the wind blows this way and that. You hear it rustling through the trees, but you have no idea where it comes from or where it’s headed next. That’s the way it is with everyone ‘born from above’ by the wind of God, the Spirit of God.” (John 3:3)
It’s a prerequisite that we can’t avoid to keep. X
But you, dear friends, carefully build yourselves up in this most holy faith by praying in the Holy Spirit, staying right at the center of God’s love, keeping your arms open and outstretched, ready for the mercy of our Master, Jesus Christ. This is the unending life, the real life!
Go easy on those who hesitate in the faith. Go after those who take the wrong way. Be tender with sinners, but not soft on sin. The sin itself stinks to high heaven.
And now to him who can keep you on your feet, standing tall in his bright presence, fresh and celebrating—to our one God, our only Savior, through Jesus Christ, our Master, be glory, majesty, strength, and rule before all time, and now, and to the end of all time. Yes. (Jude 1:20)
Keep in mind what GOD has decided is sin! Sin in GODs eyes is man’s wilful choice to go his own way – to therefore be his own god.
But we who have been touched by His Love ‘know’….! And because we’ve been touched by His Grace, we reach out to those around us in this same Grace.
We love one another in His Power, so that all men will know that we are not of this world (drawing power from it), but that we focus and belong to our Lord Jesus the Christ of GOD. Hallelujah! X
… sin didn’t, and doesn’t, have a chance in competition with the aggressive forgiveness we call grace. When it’s sin versus grace, grace wins hands down. All sin can do is threaten us with death, and that’s the end of it. Grace, because God is putting everything together again through the Messiah, invites us into life—a life that goes on and on and on, world without end. (Rom 5:20)
Sinning. Doing the wrong thing. Missing the mark.
Peer pressure only works when we put ourselves in the place when we believe that being part of ‘their’ group will somehow complete us! But remember Who It is you serve – Who Lives ‘in’ you and Who’s Path it is you follow!
(Jesus speaking) “… Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” (Mat 11:28). X
We’re all like sheep who’ve wandered off and gotten lost. We’ve all done our own thing, gone our own way. And GOD has piled all our sins, everything we’ve done wrong, on him, on him. (Isaiah 53:6)
It’s interesting what Papà calls sin … Come home and ask him yourself. X

I read this and my heart echoes Paul’s conversion statement:
“Grace mixed with faith and love poured over me and into me. And all because of Jesus!”
…let us strip off and throw aside every encumbrance (unnecessary weight) and that sin which so readily (deftly and cleverly) clings to and entangles us, and let us run with patient endurance and steady and active persistence the appointed course of the race that is set before us (Heb 12:1).
Sin (like mud on our shoes and brambles on our path), is just part of the walk. If you’ve never stumbled then I question whether you’re even human!
Listen up – everyone falls, everyone fails (either in thought or deed)! BUT Papà has given everyone the Grace to get right back up and keep going!
