The LORD is my Shepherd [to feed, to guide and to shield me], I shall not want. He lets me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still and quiet waters. He refreshes and restores my soul (life); He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. (Psa 23:1)
We all know that humankind has been given free will, and we see the results of our free will choices in the Media ever day – murders, rapes, violence, theft, perversions and worse …
The thing is, Jesus didn’t just die to please an angry GOD, he died so that ‘we’ could ‘be one’ with our Heavenly Father through His Spirit of Truth. A Divine Encourager who could never leave us, never forsake us.
Jesus clearly told us this as He was leaving the Earth, “And I will send you the Divine Encourager from the very presence of my Father. He will come to you, the Spirit of Truth, emanating from the Father, and he will speak to you about me.” (John 15:26)
So what about our ‘free will? Our ability to think and act as if we were lost and without Christ … Now you must continue to make this new life fully manifested as you live in the holy awe of God—which brings you trembling into his presence.
God will continually revitalize you, implanting within you the passion to do what pleases him. (Phil 2:12) ❤️
