Wednesday

Lord, prove them wrong when they say, “God can’t help you!” Let the light of your radiant face break through and shine upon us! (Psa 4:6)

If you’re like me then it’s not so much what ‘they’ say as what my own heart says!

But then what does GOD say? “Whenever our hearts make us feel guilty and remind us of our failures, we know that God is much greater and more merciful than our conscience, and he knows everything there is to know about us.

My delightfully loved friends, when our hearts don’t condemn us, we have a bold freedom to speak face-to-face with God. And whatever we ask of him we receive, because we keep his commands. And by our beautiful intentions we continue to do what brings pleasure to him. (1 John 3:20) ❤️

Wednesday

Mercy kissed me, even though I used to be a blasphemer, a persecutor of believers, and a scorner of what turned out to be true. I was ignorant and didn’t know what I was doing. I was flooded with such incredible grace, like a river overflowing its banks, until I was full of faith and love for Jesus, the Anointed One!

I can testify that the Word is true and deserves to be received by all, for Jesus Christ came into the world to bring sinners back to life—even me, the worst sinner of all!

Yet I was captured by grace, so that Jesus Christ could display through me the outpouring of his Spirit as a pattern to be seen for all those who would believe in him for eternal life. Because of this my praises rise to the King of all the universe who is indestructible, invisible, and full of glory, the only God who is worthy of the highest honours throughout all of time and throughout the eternity of eternities! Amen! (1 Tim 1:13)

It good to remember the ugliness that could only be torn from you by His Blood and left behind – it gives the journey ahead so much more purpose. ❤️

Saturday

(Jesus speaking) “What is the value of your soul to God? Could your worth be defined by an amount of money?

God doesn’t abandon or forget even the small sparrow he has made. How then could he forget or abandon you?

What about the seemingly minor issues of your life? Do they matter to God? Of course they do! So you never need to worry, for you are more valuable to God than anything else in this world.” (Luke 12:6)

Think about what Jesus has told us – GOD won’t (can’t) abandon you – EVER. You’re His Child and as such BELONG to Him! ❤️

Thursday

For we all have sinned and are in need of the glory of God. Yet through his powerful declaration of acquittal, God freely gives away his righteousness. His gift of love and favour now cascades over us, all because Jesus, the Anointed One, has liberated us from the guilt, punishment, and power of sin! (Rom 3:23)

Wow – read it again and think about it … GOD freely gives away his righteousness and his gift of love and favour cascades over us.

Thank you Jesus ❤️

Wednesday

Having determined our destiny ahead of time, he called us to himself and transferred his perfect righteousness to everyone he called.

And those who possess his perfect righteousness he co-glorified with his Son!

So, what does all this mean?

If God has determined to stand with us, tell me, who then could ever stand against us? (Rom 8:30)

There’s so much fabulous beauty in these Words of Scripture Father. Thank You. X

Wednesday

It wasn’t so long ago that we ourselves were stupid and stubborn, dupes of sin, ordered every which way by our glands, going around with a chip on our shoulder, hated and hating back.

But when God, our kind and loving Savior God, stepped in, he saved us from all that. It was all his doing; we had nothing to do with it. He gave us a good bath, and we came out of it new people, washed inside and out by the Holy Spirit.

Our Savior Jesus poured out new life so generously. God’s gift has restored our relationship with him and given us back our lives. And there’s more life to come—an eternity of life! You can count on this. (Titus 3:3)

Thank You Jesus. Thank You. X

Sunday

… You anoint me with the fragrance of your Holy Spirit; you give me all I can drink of you until my heart overflows.

So why would I fear the future? For your goodness and love pursue me all the days of my life. Then afterward, when my life is through, I’ll return to your glorious presence to be forever with you! (Psa 23:5)

Such a beautiful reminder of both where we should go, and where will will end up! Xx
