Sunday

“You are to be holy to Me; for I the LORD am holy, and have set you apart from the peoples (nations) to be Mine.” (Lev ‭20:26)

From what I understand, the Hebrew term ‘Holy’ is transliterated as: ‘other than’. As such, because our very spirits have been ‘reborn’ we are no longer subject to the pulls, tugs and outright demands of this world, but to be ‘set apart.’

The Hebrew term ‘set apart’ is badal, meaning: to separate, disjoin, as two places by a veil, fence or wall.

Jesus spells it out for us in his prayer: “I am not asking that you remove them from the world, but I ask that you guard their hearts from evil, For they no longer belong to this world any more than I do.” (John‬ ‭17:15) ❤️

Thursday

It wasn’t so long ago that you were mired in that old stagnant life of sin. You let the world, which doesn’t know the first thing about living, tell you how to live. You filled your lungs with polluted unbelief, and then exhaled disobedience. We all did it, all of us doing what we felt like doing, when we felt like doing it, all of us in the same boat.

It’s a wonder God didn’t lose his temper and do away with the whole lot of us. Instead, immense in mercy and with an incredible love, he embraced us. He took our sin-dead lives and made us alive in Christ. He did all this on his own, with no help from us! Then he picked us up and set us down in highest heaven in company with Jesus, our Messiah. (‭‭Eph‬ ‭2:1)

Maundy – the word just means ‘command’. Maundy Thursday was the day when our Lord Jesus celebrated the Passover with his disciples and later washed their feet in an extraordinary display of humility. He then ‘commanded’ them (and us) to do the same for each other.

A month ago, we had the ‘Be Kind’ to each other campaign and now Nurses, Doctors and Hospital staff all over the world are showing us all the same kindness as the World fights COVID-19. Let’s all join in by praying for and supporting each other. ❤️

Saturday

Having determined our destiny ahead of time, he called us to himself and transferred his perfect righteousness to everyone he called. And those who possess his perfect righteousness he co-glorified with his Son! (‭‭Rom 8:30)

Think about it – you have been co-glorified with Jesus. And what was Jesus glorified for?

The reason the Son of God was revealed was to undo and destroy the works of the devil. (‭‭1 John‬ ‭3:8‬) ❤️

Saturday

“… if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.”

You’ve only got to scan social media for a few minutes to see that we’ve left all boundaries of sensibility behind and that the awful words of practicing satanists have truly entered society: “whatever YOU want to do will become the law!”

Even the Media is recognising that the element of fear they have propagated has gone way too far and that the people are now at breaking point.

But don’t fret or worry, even in the face of this new toxic Goliath! Jesus is raising up GOD’s David’s – us! ❤️

Thursday

But God still loved us with such great love. He is so rich in compassion and mercy. Even when we were dead and doomed in our many sins, he united us into the very life of Christ and saved us by his wonderful grace!

He raised us up with Christ the exalted One, and we ascended with him into the glorious perfection and authority of the heavenly realm, for we are now co-seated as one with Christ! (‭‭Eph 2:4)

Think about it – He has never taken away the ‘Gift’ of Life he offered us even though some of us live as though we are still dead in our many sins … thank you Jesus for opening our eyes and hearts to your saving grace. ❤️

Wednesday

(Jesus praying to GOD) “So with deep love, I pray for my disciples. I’m not asking on behalf of the unbelieving world, but for those who belong to you, those you have given me.” (‭‭John‬ ‭17:9‬)

Robert Murray M’Cheyne, a 19th Century Scottish minister said, “If I could hear Christ praying for me in the next room, I would not fear a million enemies!”

We may never get to hear what our Lord is saying, but that doesn’t take anything away from the truth of the statement. Child of the Living GOD, regardless of time or space, Jesus is praying for YOU! ❤️
