GOD ’s loyal love couldn’t have run out, his merciful love couldn’t have dried up. They’re created new every morning.

How great your faithfulness! I’m sticking with GOD (I say it over and over). He’s all I’ve got left. (Lam 3:22)

I’ve just been reading again how a Christian Priest in AD 264 was beheaded for breaking emperor Claudius II’s law that single men made better soldiers than those with wives and families, so he outlawed marriage for young men. Valentine, realising the injustice of the decree, defied Claudius and continued to perform marriages for young lovers in secret. When Valentine’s actions were discovered, Claudius ordered that he be put to death.

While in prison awaiting execution, he prayed for the jailers daughter who was blind and her blindness was healed!

On the day of his execution he left her a note signed ‘Your Valentine’ ❤️

(Jesus speaking) “Are you weary, carrying a heavy burden? Then come to me. I will refresh your life, for I am your oasis.

Simply join your life with mine. Learn my ways and you’ll discover that I’m gentle, humble, easy to please. You will find refreshment and rest in me.

For all that I require of you will be pleasant and easy to bear.” (‭‭Mat ‭11:28)

“Come.” The Holy Spirit of GOD is calling you into His Presence …

“Receive.” The Holy Spirit of GOD sees all your needs and wants to heal you …

“Be made whole.” Receive The Holy Spirit of GOD and He will fill you with His Life Giving Presence …

Jesus speaking) “Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.” (‭‭Mat ‭6:34‬)

Whatever you’re facing, whatever you’re thinking, however you’re feeling and whichever path lies open – YOU ARE NOT ALONE – take a few minutes and ask your Heavenly Father for help.

2021 is just a number – you are worth so much more to Him ! ❤️

Get out of bed … Wake up. Put your face in the sunlight. GOD ’s bright glory has risen for you.

The whole earth is wrapped in darkness, all people sunk in deep darkness, But GOD rises on you, his sunrise glory breaks over you. Nations will come to your light, kings to your sunburst brightness… (‭‭Isa‬ ‭60:1)

To my mind there’s never been a time like this – not in my lifetime anyway! A time when people are openly asking why you believe what you do, and what really happens in a ‘church’ service. Where they are amazed when you play worship music that doesn’t sound dour but ALIVE…!

Child of the Living GOD, you’ve been commissioned to show your world that GOD isn’t a harsh condemning judge but that His gracious treatment of you proves Him as a Loving, Compassionate Father with an Open, Welcoming and Forgiving Heart.

Arise [from spiritual depression to a new life], shine [be radiant with the glory and brilliance of the LORD ]; for your light has come, And the glory and brilliance of the LORD has risen upon you. For in fact, darkness will cover the earth And deep darkness will cover the peoples; But the LORD will rise upon you And His glory and brilliance will be seen on you.
(‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭60:1-2‬ ‭AMP‬‬) ❤️

As you yield freely and fully to the dynamic life and power of the Holy Spirit, you will abandon the cravings of your self-life. For your self-life craves the things that offend the Holy Spirit and hinder him from living free within you! And the Holy Spirit’s intense cravings hinder your old self-life from dominating you!

… The cravings of the self-life are obvious: Sexual immorality, lustful thoughts, pornography, chasing after things instead of God, manipulating others, hatred of those who get in your way, senseless arguments, resentment when others are favoured, temper tantrums, angry quarrels, only thinking of yourself, being in love with your own opinions, being envious of the blessings of others, murder, uncontrolled addictions, wild parties, and all other similar behaviour.
(‭‭Gal 5:16)

So tell me, what benefit ensued from doing those things that you’re now ashamed of? It left you with nothing but a legacy of shame and death. But now, as God’s loving servants, you live in joyous freedom from the power of sin.

So consider the benefits you now enjoy—you are brought deeper into the experience of true holiness that ends with eternal life! For sin’s meager wages is death, but God’s lavish gift is life eternal, found in your union with our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One. (‭‭Rom‬ ‭6:21) ❤️

The eyes of the Lord are upon even the weakest worshipers who love him— those who wait in hope and expectation for the strong, steady love of God. (‭‭Psa 33:18‬)

Our GOD can (and will) come through for us in the most amazing ways. One that sticks in my mind was from a missionary to the Amazon. He told us that he was in a party of 3 missionaries who were trying to cross a particularly difficult river during monsoon. The river wasn’t particularly deep but it was running fast and so they needed to keep their footing and walk as best they can. As additional security, they found a log and holding on to it they set out together to wade to the other side.

At the half way point the river was almost over their heads and the missionary told us that he couldn’t feel the bottom any longer, so he hung on for fear of life, but the other two must have, as the log continued on a straight line to the other bank.

Once there the missionary thanked the other two for saving his life by keeping on walking when he couldn’t any longer. The other two bowed their heads in awe and confessed that they too couldn’t feel the bottom any longer, so they too just hung on to the log in fear.

So no ones feet guided the log against the pull of the river and it’s strong current, and yet all of them arrived safely.

Be encouraged Child of the Living GOD. We serve an awesome GOD. ❤️

(GOD speaking) “I will lead the blind by a way they do not know; I will guide them in paths that they do not know. I will make darkness into light before them And rugged places into plains. These things I will do [for them], And I will not leave them abandoned or undone.” (‭‭Isa 42:16‬)

I have been blind … many, many times I haven’t wanted to see what was going on around me – to my harm.

I have wasted good money … many, many times on trying to satisfy my needs – and ended up just buying even more rubbish.

I have wasted time and effort striving through the most rugged and inhospitable of situations in the vain hope of finding a better life – and ended up lost and discouraged.

But even though I have willingly let go of my Heavenly Fathers hand and wandered off to ‘do my own thing,’ He has NEVER left me abandoned or undone.

Our Heavenly Father is Merciful. His loving arms are outstretched towards you right now. He’s calling you back from the ugly toxic places and relationships you’ve fallen into, back to Himself. He wants to heal your blindness and make the darkness light before you. He has a life of Peace for you.

Just ask … ❤️

Jesus tells us plainly that “Troubles and obstacles to your faith are inevitable”, however he also promises; “I give you an eternal truth: If two of you agree to ask God for something in a symphony of prayer, my heavenly Father will do it for you. For wherever two or three come together in honour of my name, I am right there with them!” (‭‭Mat 18:19)

Be open before GOD. Tell him what’s happening – he has seen everything and knows it all anyway! If you struggle with prayer, then ask someone to pray with you. Two or more people praying are beautiful, because in humbling yourself to pray ‘openly’ about your problems it reveals your heart to others. This not only demolishes your pride, but allows others to feel secure enough to demolish theirs!

GOD tells us “I will be glad in My people … Before they call out, I’ll answer, before they finish speaking, I’ll have heard.” (Isa 65:24) ❤️

… submit to the authority of those who are your masters—not only to those who are kind and gentle but even to those who are hard and difficult.

You find God’s favour by deciding to please God even when you endure hardships because of unjust suffering. For what merit is it to endure mistreatment for wrongdoing? Yet if you are mistreated when you do what is right, and you faithfully endure it, this is commendable before God.

In fact, you were called to live this way, because Christ also suffered in your place, leaving you his example for you to follow. He never sinned and he never spoke deceitfully. When he was verbally abused, he did not return with an insult; when he suffered, he would not threaten retaliation.

Jesus faithfully entrusted himself into the hands of God, who judges righteously. He himself carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we would be dead to sin and live for righteousness. Our instant healing flowed from his wounding. (‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭2:18)

I read this and my heart sinks. Do I really entrust ALL of me to your care Lord? Let me begin with something simple – please help me to stop being so easily hurt and offended. ❤️

“If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. I will be found by you,” says the Lord.” (‭‭Jer 29:13)

“We would preach and then we would pray. You felt the Glory. You felt the majesty of GOD. Today we go to the meeting-house and there is coffee, tea and fruit in the room by the platform. People speak of trivial things and then come to the platform. How can you just turn off and on the Power of GOD?”
Leonard Ravenhill, on General Booth and the Salvation Army.

But you need to be aware that in the final days the culture of society will become extremely fierce. People will be self-centered lovers of themselves and obsessed with money. They will boast of great things as they strut around in their arrogant pride and mock all that is right. They will ignore their own families. They will be ungrateful and ungodly. They will become addicted to hateful and malicious slander. Slaves to their desires, they will be ferocious, belligerent haters of what is good and right. With brutal treachery, they will act without restraint, bigoted and wrapped in clouds of their conceit. They will find their delight in the pleasures of this world more than the pleasures of the loving God. They may pretend to have a respect for God, but in reality they want nothing to do with God’s power. Stay away from people like these! (‭‭2 Tim ‭3:1)

“If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. I will be found by you,” says the Lord.” (‭‭Jer 29:13) ❤️
