Be energetic in your life of salvation, reverent and sensitive before God. That energy is God’s energy, an energy deep within you, God himself willing and working at what will give him the most pleasure.

(Phil 2:13)

Christianity 101 – my thoughts of GOD revolved around the genie in Aladdin before I asked Him into my life. In truth I barely thought of Him unless I was in serious trouble.

Once He came in and gave me His Love, THEN I could relate to what Love is and want (choose) to mimic my Father.

Lord, flow in (and through), all Your Children today and make us all proud of You. Amen. X

Watch this: God’s eye is on those who respect him, the ones who are looking for his love. He’s ready to come to their rescue in bad times; in lean times he keeps body and soul together.

We’re depending on GOD; he’s everything we need. What’s more, our hearts brim with joy since we’ve taken for our own his holy name.

Love us, GOD, with all you’ve got— that’s what we’re depending on. (Psalm 33:18)

Google defines ‘respect’ as: “A feeling of deep admiration for someone or something elicited by their abilities, qualities, or achievements.”

Let’s take a few minutes to respect our Heavenly Father’s Abilities, Qualities and Achievements over our lives. He’s Worthy of ALL our Praises. X

(GOD speaking) “For here’s what I’m going to do:

…I’ll pour pure water over you and scrub you clean.

I’ll give you a new heart, put a new spirit in you.

I’ll remove the stone heart from your body and replace it with a heart that’s God-willed, not self-willed.

I’ll put my Spirit in you and make it possible for you to do what I tell you and live by my commands…

You’ll be my people! I’ll be your God!” (Eze 36:24)

How can we lose? X

(GOD speaking) “I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. (Jer 29:11)

Your thoughts—how rare, how beautiful! God, I’ll never comprehend them! I couldn’t even begin to count them— any more than I could count the sand of the sea. Oh, let me rise in the morning and live always with you!

(Psalm 139:17) X

Yes, indeed—God is my salvation. I trust, I won’t be afraid.

GOD —yes GOD!—is my strength and song, best of all, my salvation! (Isa 12:2)

Some reading this will be thinking “easy words to say, but you don’t know ‘my’ life!”

The thing is – GOD does! He knows ‘exactly ‘where’ you are and ‘how’ to lead you out!

(GOD speaking) “Child of Mine, trust me enough to honour me.” X

My purpose in writing is simply this: that you who believe in God’s Son will know beyond the shadow of a doubt that you have eternal life, the reality and not the illusion.

And how bold and free we then become in his presence, freely asking according to his will, sure that he’s listening.

And if we’re confident that he’s listening, we know that what we’ve asked for is as good as ours. (1 John 5:13)

John isn’t talking about our having to go fasting, doing good works and pushing ourselves to be something GOD wants b fore He’ll deign to answer us. He’s telling us to simply ‘know’ and ‘believe’ the Holy Spirit, Who is ‘in us’ and to be confident enough to be bold and free! X

By your words I can see where I’m going; they throw a beam of light on my dark path. I’ve committed myself and I’ll never turn back from living by your righteous order.

Everything’s falling apart on me, GOD; put me together again with your Word. Festoon me with your finest sayings, GOD; teach me your holy rules.

My life is as close as my own hands, but I don’t forget what you have revealed. The wicked do their best to throw me off track, but I don’t swerve an inch from your course.

I inherited your book on living; it’s mine forever— what a gift! And how happy it makes me! I concentrate on doing exactly what you say— I always have and always will. (Psa 119:105)

I love the Psalms. They’re such a fabulously rich source of truths for us all …! X
