Friday

(GOD speaking) “… All your children will have GOD for their teacher— what a mentor for your children! You’ll be built solid, grounded in righteousness, far from any trouble—nothing to fear! far from terror—it won’t even come close!

If anyone attacks you, don’t for a moment suppose that I sent them, And if any should attack, nothing will come of it. I create the blacksmith who fires up his forge and makes a weapon designed to kill. I also create the destroyer— but no weapon that can hurt you has ever been forged. Any accuser who takes you to court will be dismissed as a liar.

This is what GOD ’s servants can expect. I’ll see to it that everything works out for the best.” GOD ’s Decree.” (Isa 54:11)

Our sister needed to remember this Promise yesterday, maybe you do today too? Thank You Lord. ❤️

Saturday

Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude.

Tell him every detail of your life, then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding, will make the answers known to you through Jesus Christ. (Phi 4:7)

Isn’t this a fabulous Promise? X

Wednesday

(GOD speaking) “But you … are my servant. You’re … my first choice, descendants of my good friend Abraham.

I pulled you in from all over the world, called you in from every dark corner of the earth, Telling you, ‘You’re my servant, serving on my side. I’ve picked you. I haven’t dropped you.’

Don’t panic. I’m with you. There’s no need to fear for I’m your God. I’ll give you strength. I’ll help you. I’ll hold you steady, keep a firm grip on you.” (Isa 41:10)

The absolute truth of this promise needs to be tattooed on our hearts.

Be at Peace because NOTHING we can do (or not do), can rip our loving Father GOD away from us. X

Thursday

Oh, how I love all you’ve revealed; I reverently ponder it all the day long.

Your commands give me an edge on my enemies; they never become obsolete. I’ve even become smarter than my teachers since I’ve pondered and absorbed your counsel. I’ve become wiser than the wise old sages simply by doing what you tell me.

I watch my step, avoiding the ditches and ruts of evil so I can spend all my time keeping your Word.

I never make detours from the route you laid out; you gave me such good directions.

Your words are so choice, so tasty; I prefer them to the best home cooking. With your instruction, I understand life; that’s why I hate false propaganda. (Psa 119:97)

All these blessings “… simply by doing what you tell me!” Thank You Lord. X

Friday

Delight yourself in the LORD, And He will give you the desires and petitions of your heart. (Psa 37:4)

There are 2 parts to this particular promise.

1. Delight yourself in the LORD

2. He will give you the desires and petitions of your heart.

We like the second part, we’re just not very good at the first …!

Holy Spirit, please forgive me for jumping straight into the second part without even trying the first and then complaining when I don’t get what I want. Amen x

Wednesday

Don’t be afraid… don’t despair. Your GOD is present among you, a strong Warrior there to save you.

Happy to have you back, he’ll calm you with his love and delight you with his songs. (Zeph 3:16)

When GOD makes you a promise you can rest assured. X

Friday

Jesus said, “…Take it from me: Unless a person is born from above, it’s not possible to see what I’m pointing to—to God’s kingdom.” “How can anyone,” said Nicodemus, “be born who has already been born and grown up? You can’t re-enter your mother’s womb and be born again. What are you saying with this ‘born-from-above’ talk?” Jesus said, “You’re not listening. Let me say it again. Unless a person submits to this original creation—the ‘wind-hovering-over-the-water’ creation, the invisible moving the visible, a baptism into a new life—it’s not possible to enter God’s kingdom. When you look at a baby, it’s just that: a body you can look at and touch. But the person who takes shape within is formed by something you can’t see and touch—the Spirit—and becomes a living spirit.

“So don’t be so surprised when I tell you that you have to be ‘born from above’—out of this world, so to speak. You know well enough how the wind blows this way and that. You hear it rustling through the trees, but you have no idea where it comes from or where it’s headed next. That’s the way it is with everyone ‘born from above’ by the wind of God, the Spirit of God.” (John 3:3)

It’s a prerequisite that we can’t avoid to keep. X
