Monday

“… you will call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise [to God]. (Isa 60:18)

We live in an unprecedented age of ever shifting boundaries, one where truth is seen as subject to interpretation and justice is offered – but to the highest bidder!

But to the Children of GOD, we have been given the true assurance of our Heavenly Fathers Grace:

We are built on a sure foundation
We are protected
We are cared for
We are valued
We are loved

We can rejoice that we are hemmed in, before and behind by His Awesome Presence – our Salvation.

We can rejoice that when we go out, we never go alone. He leads us in His Triumphant procession through and back home through, the gates of Praise to our GOD. ❤️

Saturday

Jesus concluded his instructions to the seventy with these words: “Remember this: Whoever listens to your message is actually listening to me. And anyone who rejects you is rejecting me, and not only me but the one who sent me.” (‭‭Luke‬ ‭10:16‬)

What message does the world hear us speaking? Is it one of selfishness and self-centredness, or one of love, acceptance, help, forgiveness and grace.

Remember, He who is IN you is greater than he who is in this world. ❤️

Saturday

GOD is in this place—truly. And I didn’t even know it! (Gen ‭28:16)

My wife has an expression – “A dirty Bible, is a dirt life…”

The older I get the more I realise that this statement can have many meanings. For example, a dirty life (like a dirty windscreen), needs cleaning so that we can ‘safely’ see our way forward.

Right now, plagued by an invisible enemy, pretty much most of the world is held in a form of stasis as we all self-isolate during a global lockdown.

Yet life – like a young shoot pushing its way out through concrete, continues to thrive. We too, bereft of direction, look for a way out of this mess – so much so that like the Patriarch Jacob, we can miss the awesome fact that the very One we’re praying to in order to ‘get us out of here,’ is actually here – IN this place ‘with us.’

So … how different would your thoughts be would you know that GOD isn’t reaching down towards you to pull you out, but rather sitting alongside you in the storm with his head on a pillow, seemingly calm and asleep? ❤️

Monday

… Don’t give up; don’t be impatient; be entwined as one with the Lord. Be brave and courageous, and never lose hope. Yes, keep on waiting—for he will never disappoint you! (‭‭Psa ‭27:14‬)

We joke about kids on a car journey always asking, “Are we there yet?” (and we all know how annoying it can be), but are we really any different when it comes to having patience?

The instruction to us in times like these is clear – Don’t give up; don’t be impatient; be entwined as one with the Lord. Be brave and courageous, and never lose hope. Yes, keep on waiting—for he will never disappoint you! ❤️

Sunday

Make God the utmost delight and pleasure of your life, and he will provide for you what you desire the most.

Give God the right to direct your life, and as you trust him along the way you’ll find he pulled it off perfectly! (‭‭Psa ‭37:4)

Spend a few minutes just now and think … “when was the last time I genuinely allowed myself to ‘connect’ with GOD?”

Do you remember how amazing it felt, how all your cares seemed to fade away?

GOD hasn’t changed. Go visit with your Heavenly Papa’ now, He’s waiting for you. ❤️

Thursday

Joyfully you teach them the proper path, even when they go astray. Keep showing the humble your path, and lead them into the best decision. Bring revelation-light that trains them in the truth. (‭‭Psa 25:8)

How many of our prayers begin with a question, or with a request? The Bible teaches us that GOD knows what is best for us and that it’s our arrogance – in thinking that we know best, that keeps the real ‘best’ from us.

Child of the Living GOD, it’s not the self-sufficient that He reveals His path to, but those with a humble heart. Those who don’t throw down 2 options, but are willing to wait on Him for the ‘proper’ path to be revealed. ❤️

Saturday

“… if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.”

You’ve only got to scan social media for a few minutes to see that we’ve left all boundaries of sensibility behind and that the awful words of practicing satanists have truly entered society: “whatever YOU want to do will become the law!”

Even the Media is recognising that the element of fear they have propagated has gone way too far and that the people are now at breaking point.

But don’t fret or worry, even in the face of this new toxic Goliath! Jesus is raising up GOD’s David’s – us! ❤️

Thursday

(GOD speaking) “The life that pleases me is a life lived in the gratitude of grace, always choosing to walk with me in what is right.

This is the sacrifice I desire from you. If you do this, more of my salvation will unfold for you.” (‭‭Psa‬ ‭50:23‬)

Hold on. Don’t let go. ❤️

Tuesday

(Jesus speaking) “Here, then, is the deeper meaning to my parable: The word of God is the seed that is sown into hearts. The hard pathway represents the hard hearts of men who hear the word of God but the slanderer quickly snatches away what was sown in their hearts to keep them from believing and experiencing salvation.

The seed falling on the gravel represents those who initially respond to the word with joy, but soon afterward, when a season of harassment of the enemy and difficulty come to them, they whither and fall away, for they have no root in the truth and their faith is temporary.

The seed that falls into the weeds represents the hearts of those who hear the word of God but their growth is quickly choked off by their own anxious cares, the riches of this world, and the fleeting pleasures of this life. This is why they never become mature and fruitful.

The seed that fell into good, fertile soil represents those lovers of truth who hear it deep within their hearts. They respond by clinging to the word, keeping it dear as they endure all things in faith. This is the seed that will one day bear much fruit in their lives.” (‭‭Luke‬ ‭8:11) ❤️

Friday

God, I invite your searching gaze into my heart. Examine me through and through; find out everything that may be hidden within me. Put me to the test and sift through all my anxious cares. See if there is any path of pain I’m walking on, and lead me back to your glorious, everlasting ways— the path that brings me back to you. (‭‭Psa 139:23)

Wrong choices, toxic relationships and knee-jerk decisions can all lead to ‘paths of pain,’ and only the Spirit of GOD knows the reason we’re on it and what needs to be done to get us off!

Lord, is see that trusting in the Holy Spirit is like a drowning man trusting in his rescuer and staying calm. Help me to stop thrashing around and trust you.❤️
