Jesus said, “…Take it from me: Unless a person is born from above, it’s not possible to see what I’m pointing to—to God’s kingdom.” “How can anyone,” said Nicodemus, “be born who has already been born and grown up? You can’t re-enter your mother’s womb and be born again. What are you saying with this ‘born-from-above’ talk?” Jesus said, “You’re not listening. Let me say it again. Unless a person submits to this original creation—the ‘wind-hovering-over-the-water’ creation, the invisible moving the visible, a baptism into a new life—it’s not possible to enter God’s kingdom. When you look at a baby, it’s just that: a body you can look at and touch. But the person who takes shape within is formed by something you can’t see and touch—the Spirit—and becomes a living spirit.

“So don’t be so surprised when I tell you that you have to be ‘born from above’—out of this world, so to speak. You know well enough how the wind blows this way and that. You hear it rustling through the trees, but you have no idea where it comes from or where it’s headed next. That’s the way it is with everyone ‘born from above’ by the wind of God, the Spirit of God.” (John 3:3)

It’s a prerequisite that we can’t avoid to keep. X

Friday – 25/3/16

(Jesus speaking) …Then he took a deep breath and breathed into them. “Receive the Holy Spirit,” he said. “If you forgive someone’s sins, they’re gone for good. If you don’t forgive sins, what are you going to do with them?” (John‬ ‭20:22)

Someone’s sins … ‘our’ sins …

Papà says: “I have loved you with an unending love. Trust me my Child and we will write the next chapter of your life together …” X

Sunday – 8/11/15

The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living… (‭‭Heb ‭11:1)

Papà says: “This is what I want my children to know and realise today. That I am here in Love to help them to trust me enough to bring about circumstances that will make their lives worth living.” X

Friday – 18/9/15

If each grain of sand on the seashore were numbered and the sum labeled “chosen of God,” They’d be numbers still, not names; salvation comes by personal selection. God doesn’t count us; he calls us by name. Arithmetic is not his focus. (Rom 9:27)
Can a mother forget the infant at her breast, walk away from the baby she bore? But even if mothers forget, I’d never forget you—never. Look, I’ve written your names on the backs of my hands. (Isaiah‬ ‭49:15)
Papà says: “Child of Mine, you are loved and wanted and necessary to all those I have placed around you. Be at peace in My Love.” X

Wednesday – 26/8/15

Receive and experience the amazing grace of the Master, Jesus Christ, deep, deep within yourselves. (Phil 4:23‬)
Papà says: “I hear you Child of Mine and I’m here with you …” X

Tuesday – 28/7/15

Since Jesus went through everything you’re going through and more, learn to think like him. Think of your sufferings as a weaning from that old sinful habit of always expecting to get your own way. Then you’ll be able to live out your days free to pursue what God wants instead of being tyrannized by what you want. (‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭4:1).
Going a little ahead, he (Jesus) fell to the ground and prayed for a way out: “Papa, Father, you can—can’t you?—get me out of this. Take this cup away from me. But please, not what I want—what do you want? (Mark‬ ‭14:35).
If we don’t know how or what to pray, it doesn’t matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans… (Rom ‭8:26)
Papà says: “Child of Mine – let go. Let me have it and be at peace.

Saturday – 23/8/14

Oh! May the God of green hope fill you up with joy, fill you up with peace, so that your believing lives, filled with the life-giving energy of the Holy Spirit, will brim over with hope! (Rom 15:13).

Papà says: “I am here for you child of mine. I have never left you or forsaken you. Take my strength and let’s walk in hope through the day ahead.” X
