Yes, indeed—God is my salvation. I trust, I won’t be afraid.
GOD —yes GOD!—is my strength and song, best of all, my salvation! (Isa 12:2)
Have you ever heard a child crying out in their sleep? Maybe they’re having a horrible nightmare or just in discomfort or pain? Can you remember the quickening padded sounds of a parent rushing towards them, all the time issuing comforting sounds of peace?
Jesus tells us: “You’re at least decent to your own children. So don’t you think the God who conceived you in love will be even better?” (Mat 7:12)
Our Father GOD hears everything. His arms are always available for comfort and His Words are full of Hope and Promise. X
… the Holy Spirit says, Today, please listen; don’t turn a deaf ear as in “the bitter uprising,” that time of wilderness testing! Even though they watched me at work for forty years, your ancestors refused to let me do it my way; over and over they tried my patience. And I was provoked, oh, so provoked! I said, “They’ll never keep their minds on God; they refuse to walk down my road.” Exasperated, I vowed, “They’ll never get where they’re going, never be able to sit down and rest.”
So watch your step, friends. Make sure there’s no evil unbelief lying around that will trip you up and throw you off course, diverting you from the living God. For as long as it’s still God’s Today, keep each other on your toes so sin doesn’t slow down your reflexes. If we can only keep our grip on the sure thing we started out with, we’re in this with Christ for the long haul. These words keep ringing in our ears: Today, please listen; don’t turn a deaf ear as in the bitter uprising. (Heb 3:6)
When it’s la la to the left and more la la to the right. When you’re trying to walk through it while it’s seemingly being piled on you from above. When all you can hear around you are the sobs of others and all you can see through swollen and slitty eyes is pain and more pain … Yet, I trust you to resolve all this Lord Jesus.
I know that some of us feel like this just now. So, we can pray together. Though I walk through what seems to valley of the shadow of death itself, YET I will trust You. I ‘choose’ NOT TO LET GO OF YOUR HAND LORD…! X
(Jesus speaking) “… I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever– The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you [constantly] and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans [comfortless, desolate, bereaved, forlorn, helpless]; I will come [back] to you.” (John 14:15)
Scripture tells us that there should be no room in our lives for rejection, depression, hopelessness, addictions, ugly bad thoughts, bitterness, fear …
Why? Because Child of the LIVING God, Jesus (whom you know and love) has given us His Holy Spirit!!!
So tell the devil to bog off and wear your helmet of Salvation and Garment of Praise with pride! Hallelujah to You Awesome God for helping and being with all who need to ‘hear’ this – for setting them FREE! X
Are you hurting? Pray. Do you feel great? Sing. Are you sick? Call the church leaders together to pray and anoint you with oil in the name of the Master. Believing-prayer will heal you, and Jesus will put you on your feet. And if you’ve sinned, you’ll be forgiven—healed inside and out. Make this your common practice: Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you can live together whole and healed. The prayer of a person living right with God is something powerful to be reckoned with… (Jas 5:13)
Could it be written for us any simpler? Are you hurting? Sick? In mental anguish? Needing forgiveness? Then … x
