… I know that you are there for me, so I will not be shaken. (Psa 27:3)

I honestly believe that our Father GOD is as much there for the gambler who is about to roll the final dice on their much needed but crumbling marriage, as he is for the addict who is struggling to pump even more death into themselves, and all for just another temporary fix…!

How can I say this? Do I believe this, or am I just hoping and wishing?

I BELIEVE because I have ‘tasted’ for myself and ‘seen’ His awesome redeeming Grace on the broken at places like REMAR.

His redeeming Love is greater than our addictions, greater than all our problems, greater than our loneliness, greater even than death. All He wants is for us to ‘choose’ life instead of death and call on His Name. ❤️

Blessed are the people who know the passwords of praise, who shout on parade in the bright presence of GOD. Delighted, they dance all day long; they know who you are, what you do—they can’t keep it quiet!

Your vibrant beauty has gotten inside us— you’ve been so good to us! We’re walking on air! All we are and have we owe to GOD, Holy God of Israel, our King! (Psa 89:16)

I remember once watching my wife pray for a couple. The woman had given birth some months before to a beautiful little girl but something had gone wrong in her and she couldn’t hold or even show any affection towards her baby. The poor woman just sat there unkempt, distracted – alone in her thoughts.

A few minutes later, the woman was on her knees kissing, cradling and rocking the baby in her arms with tears and snot running down her face.

Crying with delight we all celebrated the Powerful Name of Jesus. No one could keep quiet! ❤️

Lord, prove them wrong when they say, “God can’t help you!” Let the light of your radiant face break through and shine upon us! (Psa 4:6)

If you’re like me then it’s not so much what ‘they’ say as what my own heart says!

But then what does GOD say? “Whenever our hearts make us feel guilty and remind us of our failures, we know that God is much greater and more merciful than our conscience, and he knows everything there is to know about us.

My delightfully loved friends, when our hearts don’t condemn us, we have a bold freedom to speak face-to-face with God. And whatever we ask of him we receive, because we keep his commands. And by our beautiful intentions we continue to do what brings pleasure to him. (1 John 3:20) ❤️

Forgive us the wrongs we have done as we ourselves release forgiveness to those who have wronged us. (Mat 6:12)

I’m sure that you’re all so holy and not like me at all – where just driving to and from work tests me on my forgiveness levels!

The thing is, if we can’t do it because of our love for our Lord, then maybe Jesus’s next Words will help: “And when you pray, make sure you forgive the faults of others so that your Father in heaven will also forgive you. But if you withhold forgiveness from others, your Father withholds forgiveness from you.”

Lay aside bitter words, temper tantrums, revenge, profanity, and insults. But instead be kind and affectionate toward one another. Has God graciously forgiven you? Then graciously forgive one another in the depths of Christ’s love. (Eph 4:31) ❤️

… men and women don’t live by bread only; we live by every word that comes from GOD’s mouth. (Deu 8:3)

As I head towards my seventh decade here on Earth, I can honestly say that our Father is Powerfully Faithful in all He does towards all of us.

We might not always get what ‘we’ think is best, but whether the problem be huge and beyond our understanding, or small enough to trip us up in our pride, I’ve learned that Grace to overcome only happens by asking Him to intervene. ❤️

(Jesus speaking) “Everyone who hears my teaching and applies it to his life can be compared to a wise man who built his house on an unshakable foundation. When the rains fell and the flood came, with fierce winds beating upon his house, it stood firm because of its strong foundation.

“But everyone who hears my teaching and does not apply it to his life can be compared to a foolish man who built his house on sand. When it rained and rained and the flood came, with wind and waves beating upon his house, it collapsed and was swept away.” (Mat 7:24)

Did you notice ‘when’ not ‘if’ the rains and floods came? He’s a Faithful Father who knows what’s coming upon us all and is wanting to look out for us.

And it all begins with: ‘hearing’ and ‘applying!’ ❤️

Our firm decision is to work from this focused center: One man died for everyone. That puts everyone in the same boat. He included everyone in his death so that everyone could also be included in his life, a resurrection life, a far better life than people ever lived on their own.

Because of this decision we don’t evaluate people by what they have or how they look. We looked at the Messiah that way once and got it all wrong, as you know. We certainly don’t look at him that way anymore. Now we look inside, and what we see is that anyone united with the Messiah gets a fresh start, is created new. The old life is gone; a new life burgeons! Look at it!

All this comes from the God who settled the relationship between us and him, and then called us to settle our relationships with each other. God put the world square with himself through the Messiah, giving the world a fresh start by offering forgiveness of sins. God has given us the task of telling everyone what he is doing. We’re Christ’s representatives. God uses us to persuade men and women to drop their differences and enter into God’s work of making things right between them. We’re speaking for Christ himself now: Become friends with God; he’s already a friend with you. (2 Cor 5:14)

Become friends with GOD; he’s already a friend with you. ❤️
