God designed us to feel remorse over sin in order to produce repentance that leads to victory. (2 Cor 7:10)

Many years ago, an archer would take aim at a target and if they missed it would be classed as sin – whether it was by an inch or a mile!

Sin therefore means to simply ‘miss the mark.’

Whenever we ‘sin’ we miss the mark that our loving Father has set for us, and we can’t whine, sulk or even pout at his choice of mark either – because his Holy Spirit is IN us to help us get there.

Child of the Living GOD, take aim again in His Strength. ❤️

May everyone who knows your mercy keep putting their trust in you, for they can count on you for help no matter what.

O Lord, you will never, no never, neglect those who come to you. (Psa 9:10)

So now I live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love.

I’m convinced that his love will triumph over death, life’s troubles, fallen angels, or dark rulers in the heavens. There is nothing in our present or future circumstances that can weaken his love. (Rom 8:38) ❤️

GOD, order a peaceful and whole life for us because everything we’ve done, you’ve done for us. (Isa 26:11)

The Apostle Paul puts it this way: “… you must continue to make this new life fully manifested as you live in the holy awe of God—which brings you trembling into his presence. God will continually revitalise you, implanting within you the passion to do what pleases him.” (Phil 2:13)

Once we accept that he LOVES us and we then choose to walk WITH our Heavenly Father and get to know him, we’ll develop the passion to do what pleases him. ❤️

… live your life empowered by God’s free-flowing grace, which is your true strength, found in the anointing of Jesus and your union with him! (2 Tim 2:1)

EVERYTHING we ever hoped for ourselves and our loved ones can rest on this truth.

Our continued ‘union’ with Jesus anoints us – sets us apart, from our fleshly desires and brings about our ‘true’ strength. ❤️

Arise [from spiritual depression to a new life], shine [be radiant with the glory and brilliance of the LORD ]; for your light has come, And the glory and brilliance of the LORD has risen upon you.

For in fact, darkness will cover the earth And deep darkness will cover the peoples; But the LORD will rise upon you And His glory and brilliance will be seen on you. (Isa 60:1)

And what happens when you shine in darkness? Your light will lead those who were themselves in deep darkness, to you. Get ready church. ❤️

It pleases God more when we demonstrate godliness and justice than when we merely offer him a sacrifice. (Pro 21:3)

How much easier is it to throw something into the offering that to offer to help the ‘sour faced’ lady with her Christmas …? Or to stand up for someone at work rather than keeping quiet and rocking the boat?

Jesus ‘clearly my tells us: “I’m telling the solemn truth: Whenever you did one of these things to someone overlooked or ignored, that was me—you did it to me.’ (Mat 25:40) ❤️

GOD said to Cain, “Where is Abel your brother?” He said, “How should I know? Am I his babysitter?” (Gen 4:9)

My beloved friends, if you see a believer who is overtaken with a fault, may the one who overflows with the Spirit seek to restore him.

Win him over with gentle words, which will open his heart to you and will keep you from exalting yourself over him.

Love empowers us to fulfill the law of the Anointed One as we carry each other’s troubles. (Gal 6:1) ❤️
