Our Father in heaven, Reveal who you are. Set the world right; Do what’s best— as above, so below. Keep us alive with three square meals. Keep us forgiven with you and forgiving others. Keep us safe from ourselves and the Devil. You’re in charge! You can do anything you want! You’re ablaze in beauty! Yes. Yes. Yes. (‭‭Mat 6:9)

We’ll all awake to so many voices screaming for vengence today. The media. Maybe our friends and family. Or even our blood might be calling for vengeance…

I turn to Christ and ask what can I pray and He tells me. X

Remember those early days after you first saw the light? Those were the hard times! Kicked around in public, targets of every kind of abuse—some days it was you, other days your friends. If some friends went to prison, you stuck by them. If some enemies broke in and seized your goods, you let them go with a smile, knowing they couldn’t touch your real treasure. Nothing they did bothered you, nothing set you back. So don’t throw it all away now.

You were sure of yourselves then. It’s still a sure thing! But you need to stick it out, staying with God’s plan so you’ll be there for the promised completion. It won’t be long now, he’s on the way; he’ll show up most any minute. But anyone who is right with me thrives on loyal trust; if he cuts and runs, I won’t be very happy. But we’re not quitters who lose out. Oh, no! We’ll stay with it and survive, trusting all the way.” (Heb 10:32)

Some of our brothers and sisters are going through terrible persecutions right now and could really do with our prayers of intercession. Equally, there are some of us living amongst such affluence and lies that we need prayer for simplicity and contentment.

Wherever we’ve been placed, we ALL need encouragement to be all that we were called to be. X

GOD said, “It’s not good for the Man to be alone…” (Gen 2:18)

To me friendship is a lot like food – we need it to survive and we seem to have a basic drive for it. We human beings have a fundamental need for inclusion We are truly social animals.

Bottom line, we function best when this social need is met. It is easier to stay motivated and to meet the varied challenges of life.

Our Father GOD knew this. He didn’t just hard-wire this need into us outside of His Perfect Plan and Covenant. And so He promises us: “I’ll never let you down, never walk off and leave you,” so we can boldly quote, God is there, ready to help; I’m fearless no matter what. Who or what can get to me? (Heb 13:5)

Thank You Father for keeping me with You no matter what … X

Tuesday – 8/3/16

“As Jesus left the house, he was followed by two blind men crying out, “Mercy, Son of David! Mercy on us!” When Jesus got home, the blind men went in with him. Jesus said to them, “Do you really believe I can do this?” They said, “Why, yes, Master!”

He touched their eyes and said, “Become what you believe.” It happened. They saw. (Mat 9:27)

I can flap around and quote scriptures until my mouth gets sore, but the bottom line is always the same. How do I face up to what He’s actually saying right now …?

“Are your ears awake? Listen. Listen to the Wind Words, the Spirit blowing through the churches.” (Rev 2:29‬)

Sunday – 4/10/15

(Jesus speaking) … I was hungry and you fed me, I was thirsty and you gave me a drink, I was homeless and you gave me a room, I was shivering and you gave me clothes, I was sick and you stopped to visit, I was in prison and you came to me.
…Master, what are you talking about? When did we ever see you hungry and feed you, thirsty and give you a drink? And when did we ever see you sick or in prison and come to you?’ Then the King will say, ‘I’m telling the solemn truth: Whenever you did one of these things to someone overlooked or ignored, that was me—you did it to me. (Matt 25:34).
There’s a whole day ahead of you to show love and kindness. Go make Papà proud. X
