Sunday

The world is unprincipled. It’s dog-eat-dog out there! The world doesn’t fight fair. But we don’t live or fight our battles that way—never have and never will.

The tools of our trade aren’t for marketing or manipulation, but they are for demolishing that entire massively corrupt culture. We use our powerful God-tools for smashing warped philosophies, tearing down barriers erected against the truth of God, fitting every loose thought and emotion and impulse into the structure of life shaped by Christ. (2 Cor 10:3)

I was watching the D Day celebrations and thinking of all the sacrifices our amazing soldiers gave for our freedom from tyranny. One soldier’s story in particular blessed me. Pinned down by snipers who picked off most of his troop, he calmly prepared his heart for death by quoting Psalm 23…

Lord, even when your path takes me through the valley of deepest darkness, fear will never conquer me, for you already have! You remain close to me and lead me through it all the way. Your authority is my strength and my peace. The comfort of your love takes away my fear. I’ll never be lonely, for you are near. (Psa 23:4) ❤️

Saturday

I am convinced that my God will fully satisfy every need you have, for I have seen the abundant riches of glory revealed to me through the Anointed One, Jesus Christ! (Phil 4:19)

Back in 1992 the Queen coined a phase: Annus horribilis – (which just means horrible year in Latin).

As I reviewed the first 5 months of this year, I must admit that my heart became heavy with all the pain and disappointment that we have all suffered so far, and then my wife reminds GOD in this morning’s prayer time that He is (and has ALWAYS been), Faithful.

Although we’ve all had problems – He’s Faithfully answered. So MANY answered prayers!!! Hallelujah!

So (my question is), WHY do we continue to think in 2019 that a broken World is somehow going to ‘fix itself’ and we’ll all have a peaceful life?!?

Only GOD will fully satisfy every need we have, for we continually see the abundant riches of glory revealed to us through the Anointed One, Jesus Christ! ❤️

Friday

But avoid useless controversies, genealogies, pointless quarrels, and arguments over the law, which will get you nowhere. (Titus 3:9)

The big argument right now seems to be focussed on homosexuality.

I was on door duty at church quite a few years ago with a couple of bible students. I overheard their conversation which was focussed on a guy walking up to church who they were adamant wasn’t going to get in as he was homosexual.

I heard myself saying, “What about her over there?” They turned as I pointed out a woman exiting a car on her own. “She left her husband for another man… should she get in?” “Or him,” I pointed out. “He’s just lost his job and his wife’s walked out on him through his heavy drinking.” “Or him,” I turned to another guy, “everyone know he’s been having an affair with his secretary for years, but he’s been a good giver here …!” “Or that lady over there, apparently it started with playing Bingo – now she’s a full on gambling addict!”

“Wouldn’t this world be a lot better if we stopped judging everyone we meet and instead just let them through to meet with Jesus?”

Thank GOD that it’s Jesus’s job to set people free and not ours! ❤️

Thursday

Keep me safe, O God, I’ve run for dear life to you. I say to GOD, “Be my Lord!” Without you, nothing makes sense. …

The wise counsel GOD gives when I’m awake is confirmed by my sleeping heart. Day and night I’ll stick with GOD; I’ve got a good thing going and I’m not letting go.

I’m happy from the inside out, and from the outside in, I’m firmly formed. You canceled my ticket to hell— that’s not my destination!

Now you’ve got my feet on the life path, all radiant from the shining of your face. Ever since you took my hand, I’m on the right way. (Psalm 16)

Our Heavenly Father loves us ❤️

Wednesday

The same way a loving father feels toward his children— that’s but a sample of your tender feelings toward us, your beloved children, who live in awe of you. (Psa 103:13)

I spoke with a beautiful friend yesterday and we had a puzzle to resolve.

The question came that if we are being attacked (either mentally, physically or spiritually), could we have wandered away from His perfect will and are now being punished.

As he was expounding a catalogue of pain, I started to ask the Lord for Wisdom and clarity. Finally I heard myself say: “Have you had any prayers answered lately?” “Yes,” He said, “Lots… Why?” He questioned.

“I was just wondering,” I said, “why the Lord would ‘continually’ answer lots of your prayers, if as you say, you were under a cloud of punishment?”

GOD LOVES US – whether we live in His Perfect or Passive Will. Remember, Child of the Living GOD, our Heavenly Father’s Love for us is BIGGER than our wrong choices. ❤️

Tuesday

Figure out what will please Christ, and then do it. (Eph 5:10)

Back in the 90’s there was a rubber wristband with the initials- WWJD on it. This stood for WHAT WOULD JESUS DO, and it was supposed to remind us to STOP and THINK before we committed ourselves.

Well, here’s the Word to YOU today from Papà GOD, figure out (ask the Holy Spirit), what will please Jesus the Christ of GOD and then do it. ❤️

Monday

(Jesus speaking)“… Father, the time has come. Unveil the glorious splendor of your Son so that I will magnify your glory!

I am not asking that you remove them from the world, but I ask that you guard their hearts from evil, For they no longer belong to this world any more than I do.

You live fully in me and now I live fully in them so that they will experience perfect unity, and the world will be convinced that you have sent me, for they will see that you love each one of them with the same passionate love that you have for me.” (John 17:1, 15-16, 23)

Jesus lives FULLY in us!!! In Him we are so much GREATER than ANY situation that manifests!! Hallelujah! ❤️
