“The one whose heart is open let him listen carefully to what the Spirit is saying now to all the churches…” (Rev 2:7)

“The one whose heart is open let him listen carefully to what the Spirit is presently saying to all the churches…” (Rev 2:11)

Jesus says the same thing over and over again through His Revelation. Maybe he’s trying to make a point …?

Lord Jesus, please check my heart to see if it’s open to You and Your Holy Spirit’s Guidance. If it isn’t then please forgive me and tune me back in – I want to hear You Lord. ❤️

For the time is coming when they will no longer listen and respond to the healing words of truth because they will become selfish and proud.

They will seek out teachers with soothing words that line up with their desires, saying just what they want to hear. They will close their ears to the truth and believe nothing but fables and myths. (2 Tim 4:3)

As I’ve experienced, ‘the truth’ can often be extremely difficult and painful to take – especially when I’m in self-righteous mode!

People everywhere want the ‘blessings’ but they only come by submission to the One who speaks the healing words of Truth. ❤️

But you need to be aware that in the final days the culture of society will become extremely fierce. People will be self-centered lovers of themselves and obsessed with money.

They will boast of great things as they strut around in their arrogant pride and mock all that is right. They will ignore their own families. They will be ungrateful and ungodly. They will become addicted to hateful and malicious slander. Slaves to their desires, they will be ferocious, belligerent haters of what is good and right.

With brutal treachery, they will act without restraint, bigoted and wrapped in clouds of their conceit. They will find their delight in the pleasures of this world more than the pleasures of the loving God. They may pretend to have a respect for God, but in reality they want nothing to do with God’s power.

Stay away from people like these! For they are the ones who worm their way into the hearts of vulnerable women, spending the night with those who are captured by their lusts and steeped in sin. They are always learning but never discover the revelation-knowledge of truth. (2 Tim 3)

Written 2,000 years ago for today’s society, for people trapped in their sin, just like you and me – people that Jesus died for so as to redeem them. Father GOD help us to reach them all. Amen. ❤️

When life is heavy and hard to take, go off by yourself. Enter the silence. Bow in prayer. Don’t ask questions: Wait for hope to appear. Don’t run from trouble. Take it full-face. The “worst” is never the worst.

Why? Because the Master won’t ever walk out and fail to return. If he works severely, he also works tenderly. His stockpiles of loyal love are immense. He takes no pleasure in making life hard, in throwing roadblocks in the way: (Lam 3:28)

I often tell people in trouble to take a piece of paper and a pen and go for a walk with Jesus. I’ve never heard of one that has come back disappointed or disheartened. ❤️

The Lord looks down in love, bending over heaven’s balcony, looking over all of Adam’s sons and daughters.

He’s looking to see if there is anyone who acts wisely, any who are searching for God and wanting to please him. (Psa 14)

Mother, Father, Teacher, Doctor, Plumber, Builder, Mechanic … how many people came and asked you for your help yesterday?

Remember – GOD doesn’t manifest Himself TO His Children as much as IN His Children. ❤️

The Holy Spirit has set you apart to be God’s holy ones, obedient followers of Jesus Christ who have been gloriously sprinkled with his blood. May God’s delightful grace and peace cascade over you many times over! (1 Peter 1:2)

I’ll be honest with you, I just stared at this Scripture for several minutes this morning and it got me thinking…! Do I act like an ‘obedient’ follower of our Christ?

For I’m so ashamed. I feel such pain and anguish within me. I can’t get away from the sting of my sin against you, Lord! Everything I did, I did right in front of you, for you saw it all. Against you, and you above all, have I sinned. Everything you say to me is infallibly true and your judgment conquers me.

Create a new, clean heart within me. Fill me with pure thoughts and holy desires, ready to please you. May you never reject me! May you never take from me your sacred Spirit! Let my passion for life be restored, tasting joy in every breakthrough you bring to me. Hold me close to you with a willing spirit that obeys whatever you say. (Psa 51) ❤️

The demons screamed at Jesus, shouting, “Son of God, what do you want with us? Leave us alone! Have you come to torment us before the appointed time?” (Mat 8:28)

We love and follow the all Powerful One, who even demons fear and shudder at His Name!

We love the One who GOD the Father sent to save us!

We hear and know the Voice of the One who’s voice is Powerful enough to frighten death and the grave.

We love and honour the One who answered our cry for help and set us Free!

Thank you Jesus – my Lord. ❤️
