Following your word has kept me from wrong. Your ways have molded my footsteps, keeping me from going down the forbidden paths of the destroyer. (Psa 17:4)

The Bible is so much more than any of us could ever even imagine. It’s FILLED with the Power of GOD Himself.

I remember reading of a group of Chinese Christians who had just received their copies of the Bible. Apparently they had all grouped together and read well through the night and in the early morning some of the younger girls had left for home. Along the way they had been waylaid by a group of men intent on rape. The only thing one girl could remember was the protection promise in Psalm 91. So she cried out 91, 91, 91 …!

ALL of the men froze like statues! The girls fled back to the group of Christians and men from the group came and found the men still frozen as the girls had left them, with just their eyes moving.

All had gathered round and prayed and then the men were released from their frozen condition. Some ran away, some stayed and met with Jesus.

Awesome GOD, thank You for Your Powerful Word. ❤️

My beloved friends, if you see a believer who is overtaken with a fault, may the one who overflows with the Spirit seek to restore him.

Win him over with gentle words, which will open his heart to you and will keep you from exalting yourself over him.

Love empowers us to fulfill the law of the Anointed One as we carry each other’s troubles. If you think you are too important to stoop down to help another, you are living in deception. (Gal 6)

Another Bible version says: If someone falls into sin, forgivingly restore him, saving your critical comments for yourself. You might be needing forgiveness before the day’s out.

And that’s the beauty of the Good News of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus the Christ of GOD. It’s a sea of Grace that touches EVERY shore, EVERY body – young and old. We ALL make mistakes and ALL need His Grace. ❤️

… you have had a taste of the goodness of the Lord Jehovah and have experienced his kindness. (1 Peter 2:3)

Lord Jesus, help us to see every problem we face as a pebble to you, and every act of Grace poured onto us as a balloon. Help us not to quit like a sulky child, but to tie the pebble to the balloon and rejoice as it’s lifted heavenward into your loving care. Amen. ❤️

Always do what is right and not only when others are watching, so that you may please Christ as his servants by doing his will.

Serve your employers wholeheartedly and with love, as though you were serving Christ and not men. (Eph 6:6)

This reminds me of a time when I worked for a lady manager who abjectly hated me – and didn’t hide the fact. I tolerated her jibes and criticisms for almost a year, then one day after a terrible morning with her, I pulled out my lunch box and started to eat. I was honestly thinking of leaving (probably worse)!

Anyway, as I ate, I heard her say, “I love tangerines.” I noticed she was looking at my fruit. At that moment I felt the Lord say, “give her the fruit.” I (finally) stood and with shaking hands grabbed hold of the tangerine and almost dumped it onto her desk. Then I quickly walked to the toilet

When I finally came back I noticed she had been crying. I (begrudgingly) asked her what was wrong and if I could help, she said, “I have done everything I can to get rid of you, and the more I hurt you the nicer you treat me…! Why?”

I told her about Jesus. In fact she knew all about Him as she’d walked away from Him many years ago. The rest, as they say, is history. Thank You Jesus for giving me Your strength. ❤️

Jesus said to them, “Why would you need to search for me? Didn’t you know that it was necessary for me to be here in my Father’s house, consumed with him?” (Luke 2:49)

When I read this my heart skips a beat …! It’s as if my spirit recognises the awesome truth and flies to it. Like sparks flying upwards I too want to – need to, be with my Daddy. ❤️

Your hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings, but with the highest principalities and authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realms. For they are a powerful class of demon-gods and evil spirits that hold this dark world in bondage.

Because of this, you must wear all the armor that God provides so you’re protected as you confront the slanderer, for you are destined for all things and will rise victorious. (Eph 6:12)

It’s good to remember just ‘why’ we’re told to wear the armour of GOD. It’s also good to remember that Jesus has promised never to leave us or forsake us and that at His Name EVERY demon will bow and tremble.

Bottom line – cuddle up closer to Jesus and stay safe. ❤️

Because he honoured God, God answered him.

Though he was God’s Son, he learned trusting-obedience by what he suffered, just as we do. (Heb 5:7)

He ‘learned’ to obey …

In this age of ‘fast-this’ and ‘quick-that’ most of us think we can just pray and trusting-obedience will supernaturally appear. Then when we do suffer something and the only thing that manifests is our child-like sulks, don’t we get fabulously huffed with GOD!

Lord, help me not to spit my dummy out every time something hits the fan and I don’t get my own way. Help me to ‘know, feel and hear’ Jesus is with me during these times of trial and Glorify You as He draws me through. Amen. ❤️
