(GOD speaking) “I will lead the blind by a way they do not know; I will guide them in paths that they do not know. I will make darkness into light before them And rugged places into plains. These things I will do [for them], And I will not leave them abandoned or undone.” (‭‭Isa 42:16‬)

I have been blind … many, many times I haven’t wanted to see what was going on around me – to my harm.

I have wasted good money … many, many times on trying to satisfy my needs – and ended up just buying even more rubbish.

I have wasted time and effort striving through the most rugged and inhospitable of situations in the vain hope of finding a better life – and ended up lost and discouraged.

But even though I have willingly let go of my Heavenly Fathers hand and wandered off to ‘do my own thing,’ He has NEVER left me abandoned or undone.

Our Heavenly Father is Merciful. His loving arms are outstretched towards you right now. He’s calling you back from the ugly toxic places and relationships you’ve fallen into, back to Himself. He wants to heal your blindness and make the darkness light before you. He has a life of Peace for you.

Just ask … ❤️

Thursday

As Jesus left the house, he was followed by two blind men crying out, “Mercy, Son of David! Mercy on us!” When Jesus got home, the blind men went in with him. Jesus said to them, “Do you really believe I can do this?” They said, “Why, yes, Master!”

He touched their eyes and said, “Become what you believe.” It happened. They saw. (Mat 9:27)

The blind recognised his authority. The sick saw redemption in him. The hurting knew enough to know that they only had to follow him to be free.

Holy Spirit, please open my eyes too … X

Monday – 2/5/16

… I heard the voice of the Master: “Whom shall I send? Who will go for us?” I spoke up, “I’ll go. Send me!”

He said, “Go and tell this people: “‘Listen hard, but you aren’t going to get it; look hard, but you won’t catch on.’ Make these people blockheads, with fingers in their ears and blindfolds on their eyes, So they won’t see a thing, won’t hear a word, So they won’t have a clue about what’s going on and, yes, so they won’t turn around and be made whole.” (Isaiah‬ ‭6:1)

(Jesus speaking) … “Do you believe in the Son of Man?” The man (who had been healed of blindness) said, “Point him out to me, sir, so that I can believe in him.” Jesus said, “You’re looking right at him. Don’t you recognize my voice?” “Master, I believe,” the man said, and worshiped him.

Jesus then said, “I came into the world to bring everything into the clear light of day, making all the distinctions clear, so that those who have never seen will see, and those who have made a great pretense of seeing will be exposed as blind.”

Some Pharisees overheard him and said, “Does that mean you’re calling us blind?” Jesus said, “If you were really blind, you would be blameless, but since you claim to see everything so well, you’re accountable for every fault and failure.” (John‬ ‭9:35)

I heard this at church last night and it really impacted me. Thank You Lord for Your Awesome Grace and forgiveness. X
