Wednesday

(GOD speaking)… “Because you have delighted in me as my great lover, I will greatly protect you. I will set you in a high place, safe and secure before my face.

I will answer your cry for help every time you pray, and you will find and feel my presence even in your time of pressure and trouble.

I will be your glorious hero and give you a feast. You will be satisfied with a full life and with all that I do for you. For you will enjoy the fullness of my salvation!” (‭‭Psa‬ ‭91:14)

And this is what our Heavenly Father says in response to all the fears that would seek to entrap you … ❤️🙏🏻❤️

Sunday

“You are to be holy to Me; for I the LORD am holy, and have set you apart from the peoples (nations) to be Mine.” (Lev ‭20:26)

From what I understand, the Hebrew term ‘Holy’ is transliterated as: ‘other than’. As such, because our very spirits have been ‘reborn’ we are no longer subject to the pulls, tugs and outright demands of this world, but to be ‘set apart.’

The Hebrew term ‘set apart’ is badal, meaning: to separate, disjoin, as two places by a veil, fence or wall.

Jesus spells it out for us in his prayer: “I am not asking that you remove them from the world, but I ask that you guard their hearts from evil, For they no longer belong to this world any more than I do.” (John‬ ‭17:15) ❤️

Saturday

GOD is in this place—truly. And I didn’t even know it! (Gen ‭28:16)

My wife has an expression – “A dirty Bible, is a dirt life…”

The older I get the more I realise that this statement can have many meanings. For example, a dirty life (like a dirty windscreen), needs cleaning so that we can ‘safely’ see our way forward.

Right now, plagued by an invisible enemy, pretty much most of the world is held in a form of stasis as we all self-isolate during a global lockdown.

Yet life – like a young shoot pushing its way out through concrete, continues to thrive. We too, bereft of direction, look for a way out of this mess – so much so that like the Patriarch Jacob, we can miss the awesome fact that the very One we’re praying to in order to ‘get us out of here,’ is actually here – IN this place ‘with us.’

So … how different would your thoughts be would you know that GOD isn’t reaching down towards you to pull you out, but rather sitting alongside you in the storm with his head on a pillow, seemingly calm and asleep? ❤️

Wednesday

… don’t turn your back on GOD. Worship and serve him heart and soul! Don’t chase after ghost-gods. There’s nothing to them. They can’t help you. They’re nothing but ghost-gods!

GOD, simply because of who he is, is not going to walk off and leave his people (you). GOD took delight in making you into his very own people.

And neither will I walk off and leave you. That would be a sin against GOD! I’m staying right here at my post praying for you and teaching you the good and right way to live. But I beg of you, fear GOD and worship him honestly and heartily. You’ve seen how greatly he has worked among you! (‭‭1 Sam ‭12:20)

Whether we understand it, appreciate it – or even like it, ‘someone’ has been tasked by the Holy Spirit to bring you before GOD – right now, in prayer!

And who instigated it? Not them – your name and need just popped into their heart! How humbling is that? Thank You Lord. ❤️

Tuesday

Yes, God is more than ready to overwhelm you with every form of grace, so that you will have more than enough of everything—every moment and in every way. He will make you overflow with abundance in every good thing you do. (‭‭2 Cor‬ ‭9:8‬)

It’s not always about money. Let’s look at just a few things that we can feel drained of during a typical day:

Love. Kindness. Patience. Self control. Knowledge. Wisdom. Peace. Joy. Strength. Hope. Kindness. Help…

Now let’s see how we can replenish all of them – and more …

(Jesus speaking) “Are you weary, carrying a heavy burden? Then come to me. I will refresh your life, for I am your oasis.” (Mat ‭11:28‬) ❤️

Saturday

I know, Lord, that our lives are not our own. We are not able to plan our own course. So correct me, Lord, but please be gentle. Do not correct me in anger, for I would die. (‭‭Jer 10:23)

We’re all alike, we dream big and in our imaginations our lives are painted with bold brush strokes. But then the things we can’t control – the wind, rain and storms of life come along and the dawning realisation hits us that our lives are not our own to direct and that we’re wholly incapable of planning our own course.

At this knowledge, some will quietly quit altogether while some who don’t know of GOD and what he’s done for us in Jesus will pick themselves up and gathering their broken dreams will try again – and again…

But for those of us who have quit trying to form our own lives and have handed all the broken pieces and our hopes to Jesus, a miracle will have begun – we will begin to realise his faithfulness for ourselves and our trust in him will grow.

Correct me Lord in your gentleness. ❤️

Monday

…Be agreeable, be sympathetic, be loving, be compassionate, be humble. That goes for all of you, no exceptions.

No retaliation. No sharp-tongued sarcasm. Instead, bless—that’s your job, to bless. You’ll be a blessing and also get a blessing.

Whoever wants to embrace life and see the day fill up with good, Here’s what you do: Say nothing evil or hurtful; Snub evil and cultivate good; run after peace for all you’re worth.

God looks on all this with approval, listening and responding well to what he’s asked; But he turns his back on those who do evil things. (‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭3:8)

Thank you for helping me today Lord … ❤️

Thursday

In all of my affliction I find great comfort in your promises, for they have kept me alive (‭‭Psa ‭119:50‬)

I was reading a testimony yesterday of someone asking another how he constantly kept his composure when all around him seemed to be sliding into hell. The other responded, “Whenever situations happen and I feel like I’m sliding too, I dig my fingers deeper into GOD and His Promises – I call on His Name to rescue me!”

Lord Jesus, I pray for all those reading this today, let them see and know your manifested Great Grace towards them all today. Amen. ❤️
