(GOD speaking) “But you, Israel, are my servant. You’re Jacob, my first choice, descendants of my good friend Abraham. I pulled you in from all over the world, called you in from every dark corner of the earth, Telling you, ‘You’re my servant, serving on my side. I’ve picked you. I haven’t dropped you.’ Don’t panic. I’m with you. There’s no need to fear for I’m your God. I’ll give you strength. I’ll help you. I’ll hold you steady, keep a firm grip on you.” (Isa 41:8)

“Stand at attention while I prepare you for your work. I’m making you as impregnable as a castle, Immovable as a steel post, solid as a concrete block wall. You’re a one-man defense system against this culture… They’ll fight you, but they won’t even scratch you. I’ll back you up every inch of the way.” GOD ’s Decree.” (Jer 1:18)

I’ve tried sending this message 3 times this morning and my phone keeps crashing!

This MUST mean something for YOU!!! BE Blessed. ❤️

Our hearts bubble over as we celebrate the fame of your marvelous beauty, bringing bliss to our hearts. We shout with ecstatic joy over your breakthrough for us. (Psa 145:7)

I’ve just been reading how the early Egyptians were so finicky that they used to stop worshiping and giving sacrifices to their gods whenever they felt unfairly dealt with – blaming them for everything that was happening. In fact, they really believed that all the prayers and their giving warranted a ‘totally’ blessed life, and unless they (constantly) got what they wanted, they would simply walk away from that god and never go back!

Thank God we’re civilised now and don’t act that way with the Living GOD huh?

Father, please forgive my selfish petulance, help me to come back to your loving care. I miss You Lord…  Amen. ❤️

(GOD speaking) “But face the facts, all you oppressors, and then wring your hands. Listen, all of you, far and near. Prepare for the worst and wring your hands. Yes, prepare for the worst and wring your hands! Plan and plot all you want—nothing will come of it.

All your talk is mere talk, empty words, Because when all is said and done, the last word is Immanuel—God-With-Us.” (Isa 8:9)

Read it again, then think about what is stood in your way and oppressing you. Medical problems? Physical? Financial?

Every dark way must be brought to the light. Wrongs righted. Injustices removed. Every heart of pride will be humbled low before him. Every deception will be exposed and replaced by the truth so that everyone everywhere will be ready to see the Life of God! (Luke 3:5) ❤️

This is not the time to pull away and neglect meeting together, as some have formed the habit of doing. In fact, we should come together even more frequently, eager to encourage and urge each other onward … (Heb 10:25)

My friend Mark sent this and I couldn’t resist putting them together… “A man wrote a letter to his church complaining that it made no sense to go every Sunday. He wrote: “I’ve gone for 30 years now, and in that time I have heard something like 3,000 sermons, but for the life of me, I can’t remember a single one of them. So, I think I’m wasting my time.

The Pastor wrote back: “… as you know I’ve been married for over 30 years. In that time my wife has cooked some 30,000 meals and for the life of me, I cannot recall more than a few of them.

But I do know this: They all nourished me and gave me the strength I needed to do my work. If my wife had not given me these meals, I would be physically dead today. Likewise, if I had not gone to church for nourishment, I would be spiritually dead today!”

Thank you Jesus ❤️

We all experience times of testing, which is normal for every human being. But God will be faithful to you. He will screen and filter the severity, nature, and timing of every test or trial you face so that you can bear it.

And each test is an opportunity to trust him more, for along with every trial God has provided for you a way of escape that will bring you out of it victoriously. (1 Cor 10:13)

As I write this it’s extremely apt that a particular song is playing on Christian radio: “When you don’t move the mountains that I want you to move, when you don’t part the waters I wish I could walk through…”

The singer’s bottom line – “I will trust in you…” ❤️

(Jesus speaking) “The person who loves his life and pampers himself will miss true life! But the one who detaches his life from this world and abandons himself to me, will find true life and enjoy it forever!

If you want to be my disciple, follow me and you will go where I am going. And if you truly follow me as my disciple, the Father will shower his favor upon your life.” (John 12:25)

We all have visions of what we’d like to be – what we’d like to happen – our perfect future. How’s it working out for you so far …?

Jesus has laid out true life and enjoyment – detachment and abandonment. ❤️

But you, my delightfully loved friends, constantly and progressively build yourselves up on the foundation of your most holy faith by praying every moment in the Spirit. (Jude (Judah) 1:20)

I have journeyed with many brothers and sisters from many denominations who all seem to have different thoughts on this. Some are vehement about speaking in tongues, whereas some reject them outright.

Personally, I believe that praying in the Spirit does not refer to the words we are saying as much as to the way we are praying. If our hearts are truly ‘engaged’ with the needs of others and we (like Jesus), open up to the Holy Spirit’s leadings, then we can pray ‘with’ them for their Deliverer to come and set them free. ❤️
