Day 273

https://www.muchgracepublications.com/daily-blog/

For we all have sinned and are in need of the glory of God. Yet through his powerful declaration of acquittal, God freely gives away his righteousness. His gift of love and favour now cascades over us, all because Jesus, the Anointed One, has liberated us from the guilt, punishment, and power of sin! (Rom 3:23)

Wow – read it again and think about it … GOD freely gives away his righteousness and his gift of love and favour cascades over us – and it’s not like a drip, drip drip, but a cascading waterfall …!

Thank you Father for what you’ve done, and are doing in us through our Lord Jesus ❤️

KARP (VOL I)

ADVENTURES & ANGELS

My book has finally been published …

Other than the Prologue, which has been deliberately paused at the part of the supernatural intervention of GOD, the remaining chapters are written to introduce a wonderful character called Karp and his accompanying characters.

Most of the poignant life stories we review have either been based upon my own life experiences, testimonies I’ve read and heard, or heart-rending situations that have impacted me sufficiently to make me want to shout out and echo the words of so many philosophers before me through the ages, “those who cannot learn from history, are doomed to repeat it.”

As we meet each character and they open their lives to examination, we see how similar we all really are. How the same grasping passions that were at work in our ancestors in the first century – greed, pride, fear, doubt and even self-loathing, run eternally and consistently through us all within the twenty-first. Even though we view life through a harsh unbending prism of reality because the light and hope of God burns anew and ever faithful towards his children who are locked within their own personal struggles.

In the opening chapters, we see how Karp’s family perished through an outbreak of Cholera and how, in his depressive state, he was kidnapped, brutally abused, and forced into slavery, yet divinely protected and ultimately loved and mothered through the rekindled kindness of a lonely old spinster, who we find is none other than a seventy-year-old, depressed, and companionless, Mary Magdalene.

We also meet several other predominant characters who have already enjoyed a footnote in Christian lore and world mythology. These characters are brought back into the light within the pages of the book, and as we investigate their lives, I believe that we, too, will be challenged by their choices.

From helping a King to rescue a kidnapped princess and working covertly with the occupying Roman forces to rid the islands of evil marauding pirates to then dealing with the terrible demonic powers at the temple of Artemis of Ephesus, Karp is always at the forefront of adventurous events and spurs us all on ever to choose the greater paths of hope and faith.

Day 272

https://www.muchgracepublications.com/daily-blog/

You are God-Enthroned, surrounded with songs, living among the shouts of praise of your princely people. (Psa 22:3)

I’ve shared this before – but GOD put it into my heart to tell you all again, so someone out there needs to hear that GOD can do ANYTHING…!

It wasn’t just raining, it was literally pouring down. The animal shed where the Churches met in Peterborough was packed to the edges and the worshippers were lost in the worship of our Lord and Saviour; Jesus, the Christ of GOD.

I was delegated as an usher for the evening and actually saw the family come in. It was a family of three, husband and wife in dripping Sou’westers pushing a severely disabled child of about 7 or 8 in an oversized pushchair.

The praises didn’t let up as the couple pulled away the covering on the pushchair so the child could see. I noticed how many around them saw her then, she was all twisted – horribly broken.

The singing didn’t let up, in fact, it seemed to reach a whole new level as people all around her began stretching one hand out towards the girl and the other towards Heaven.

I stood in awe just inches away from the family. The father with his head bowed, his mouth moving wordlessly in prayer and intercession, the mother, her face tilted upwards, her tears mingling onto her already dripping clothes.

The sound of Worship hit a peak and just when I genuinely thought my heart would break, it happened. Suddenly the girl began jerking around in her chair. Everyone around her stared – it was as if we were watching a li-lo being inflated at the beach. Her arms began to straighten, then her legs, then her back. She finally stood on her own just gazing around at everyone surrounded by the worship and shouts of utter JOY.

Her father fell to his knees, his arms outstretched to Heaven. I caught his wife as she fainted … thank You, Jesus. ❤️

https://www.muchgracepublications.com/daily-blog/

Stay with GOD! Take heart. Don’t quit. I’ll say it again: Stay with GOD. (Psa 27:13)

Accepting the invitation to “come” to Christ was the pivotal turning point of my life. Before that, I somehow ‘knew’ that I just went through the motions of existing amongst a bunch of like-minded prisoners – like crabs in a bucket, I fought with them as well as myself. We were all lost and hopeless … and all of us alone.

Now – He guides my mind, He comforts me, He offers me good counsel and showers me with Grace when I blow it.

So, I join with all the Saved by Grace, and echo LOUDLY the words of the Psalmist: Stay with GOD! Take heart. Don’t quit. I’ll say it again: Stay with GOD. ❤️

This is the sacrifice I desire from you. If you do this, more of my salvation will unfold for you.” (Psa 50:23)

Day 269

“Look! There he is—God’s Lamb! He will take away the sins of the world!” (John 1:29)

I’d heard all about Jesus. In fact, I was fervent in my faith. I’d been a good Catholic – even got to be an Altar boy, and even though I was outwardly practising, inwardly I was thoroughly hooked on the pleasures of sin.

Yes, the path I had chosen looked good externally but wasn’t anything more than a dead end, and following it made sure I’d never get to ever ‘see’ Jesus. Religion, cynicism and Jack Daniels had successfully clouded him from my eyes.

Then GOD in his mercy started to reveal Jesus to me – within his Children!

My eyes were opened by His Grace. And I finally ‘saw’ Jesus – GOD’s Lamb that took away all the sins I’d ever committed in this world! ❤️

Day 268

https://www.muchgracepublications.com/daily-blog/

… I know that you are there for me, so I will not be shaken. (Psa 27:3)

I honestly believe that our Father GOD is as much there for the gambler who is about to roll the final dice on their much-needed but crumbling marriage, as he is for the addict who is struggling to stop pumping even more death into themselves – and all for just another temporary fix…!

How can I say this? I mean, do I really believe this – or am I just hoping and wishing?

I BELIEVE THIS because I have ‘tasted’ for myself and ‘seen’ His awesome redeeming Grace on the broken at places like REMAR, (Remar is a Christian charity that offers free assistance to disadvantaged people and individuals suffering from drug or alcohol addiction. This often includes working with ex-offenders and people living on the streets).

His redeeming Love is greater than our addictions, greater than all our problems, greater than our loneliness – greater even than death.

All He wants is for us to ‘choose’ life instead of death, and call on His Name – He WILL do the rest. ❤️

Day 266

https://www.muchgracepublications.com/daily-blog/

(GOD) … was amazed that there was no one to intercede [on behalf of truth and right]; (Isa 59:16)

There was a time when my business was growing exponentially and I ended up taking on a bunch of guys to help fill the gaps.

Long story short – a few of them got together and through incessant gossiping, undermining and not fulfilling their roles, really hurt me and the business financially. So much so that when I found out what they’d done it took me three whole weeks to even THINK to forgive them – and that was with GOD on my case every day/ hour/ minute/ second/ millisecond …!

The thing is, I didn’t want to forgive (or intercede) for them – actually, my Italian side just wanted vengeance!

Then one day as I was reading the Bible, I came to the part where Judas betrayed Jesus and I distinctly I heard a voice in my heart say: “You don’t really want it to end this way for them to, do you?”

Anyway, everything got turned around when GOD showed me how they’d been specifically used to hurt me and everyone else in the business, and this turned everything around. So much so that it became a natural thing to forgive them and want to see them set free – to intercede for them!

Lord, please open our eyes to those who are just being used as the cat’s paw and help to set them free – AS WE HAVE BEEN. Amen. ❤️

… make sure no one lives with a root of bitterness sprouting within them which will only cause trouble and poison the hearts of many. (Heb 12:15)

All of us – and every day – are faced with situations that will make us ‘bitter’ or ‘better.’

The Holy Spirit within us is totally against injustice and He knows the best way to come out from under the situation you are facing right now – all He asks is that you turn to Him, open up your shaking white-knuckled fists and lay down the weapons you have gathered around you; anger, hurt, bitterness, vengeance…

(Jesus speaking) Pray like this: ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.’ ❤️

As well as quite a few others (GOD knows who they are), who are really going through some yukky stuff right now.

Thank you. ❤️

Day 264

https://www.muchgracepublications.com/daily-blog/

We all experience times of testing, which is normal for every human being. But God will be faithful to you. He will screen and filter the severity, nature, and timing of every test or trial you face so that you can bear it.

And each test is an opportunity to trust him more, for along with every trial God has provided for you a way of escape that will bring you out of it victoriously. (1 Cor 10:13)

As I write this encouragement this morning, it’s extremely apt that a great song by Lauren Daigle is playing on Christian radio:

When You don’t move the mountains
I’m needing You to move
When You don’t part the waters
I wish I could walk through
When You don’t give the answers
As I cry out to You
I will trust, I will trust
I will trust in You

Her (our) bottom line – “I will trust in You…” ❤️

🙏❤️ 🙏 URGENT PRAYER REQUESTS 🙏❤️🙏

Tonia – who is struggling with the effects of chemo for breast cancer. She’s had another scan yesterday and seeing her consultant today …

Emma – who’s awaiting ‘positive’ oncology results. She’s currently physically incapacitated through severe pain and due to circumstances needs urgent financial assistance with a disability chair that seems to cost as much as a small second-hand car…! DM me if you can offer her (any) help …

Young Lydia – her father told me last week that she came out of hospital on Thursday, but had to go back to the doctor Friday with severe pain. She’s now waiting for a heart appointment and the results. She’s also waiting to see a surgeon regarding her on going stomach pain and stoma problems…

Karen – who’s life support has now been turned off and they are now using her organs for donations. Please can we pray for her daughter Sarah and partner, and their two-week old baby Willow …

Day 263

https://www.muchgracepublications.com/daily-blog/

This is not the time to pull away and neglect meeting together, as some have formed the habit of doing. In fact, we should come together even more frequently, eager to encourage and urge each other onward … (Heb 10:25)

My friend sent me this and I couldn’t resist sharing … “A man wrote a letter to his church complaining that it made no sense to go every Sunday. He wrote: “I’ve gone for 30 years now, and in that time I have heard something like 3,000 sermons, but for the life of me, I can’t remember a single one of them. So, I think I’m wasting my time.”

The Pastor wrote back: “… as you know I’ve been married for over 30 years. In that time my wife has cooked some 30,000 meals and for the life of me, I cannot recall more than a few of them.

But I do know this: They all nourished me and gave me the strength I needed to do my work. If my wife had not given me these meals, I would be physically dead today. Likewise, if I had not gone to Church for nourishment, I would be spiritually dead today!”

Thank you, Jesus, ❤️
