About muchgrace

Hmmm ... I guess the title pretty much says it all! Much Grace 'is' the story of my life :-)

Thursday

He’s there from now to eternity to save everyone who comes to God through him, always on the job to speak up for them. (Heb 7:25)

How awesome is this Scripture?

Jesus Himself is for you – from here on in to Eternity!

Jesus Himself will save you from all that stands against you – from here on in to Eternity!

Jesus Himself will act as your advocate, speaking up for you – from here on in to Eternity!

Lord, I bow here humbled by this awesome revelation. I don’t really know why you love me enough to do this, but thank you. ❤️

Wednesday

“This is the way GOD put it: … “I’ve never quit loving you and never will. Expect love, love, and more love! (Jer 31:2)

What’s the hardest thing for a Christian to do? For me – it’s the ability to step away from the trouble we’re in and SEE and KNOW that GOD is bigger than the problem and offer praise in the midst of it.

Why … how? BECAUSE HE LOVES YOU!!! X

Tuesday

That night God appeared to Solomon. God said, “What do you want from me? Ask.”

Solomon answered, “You were extravagantly generous with David my father, and now you have made me king in his place. Establish, GOD, the words you spoke to my father, for you’ve given me a staggering task, ruling this mob of people. Yes, give me wisdom and knowledge as I come and go among this people—for who on his own is capable of leading these, your glorious people?” (2 Chron 1:7)

We face this dilemma each day of our lives. Which way? What now? What to do?

Unfortunately life isn’t like a package from IKEA and doesn’t come with all the diagrams.

GOD wants to guide us through His Holy Spirit, and He always speaks, but He won’t give in to our sulking petulance, and lead us down a path that isn’t ours.

So when you ask, don’t ask from fear but ask from the heart, because that’s where He Lives. X

Monday

So he (Jesus) is able to save fully from now throughout eternity, everyone who comes to God through him, because he lives to pray continually for them. (Heb 7:24)

As we approach Easter it’s good to remember that only one person has been given the power the keep us perfectly safe – and throughout eternity.

Only one person loves us enough and chooses to do this. Our Lord and Saviour, Jesus the Christ of GOD. X

Sunday

(GOD speaking) “Return, backsliding children! I will heal your backsliding.”

Yes, we will come to You for You are ADONAI Eloheinu. (Jer 3:22)

The temptation to let go of our Papà’s hand and go wandering comes upon us all. Lust, the desire to do or try something, especially something wrong or unwise, seems predominant. And when it comes to facing GOD we’ve got more excuses than a pregnant Nun.

But GOD is saying that He can – and is willing, to heal us from our backsliding, if only we will come to Him.

Thank You Lord. X

Saturday

Don’t act like those bullies or learn their ways. Every violent thug is despised by the Lord, but every tender lover finds friendship with God and will hear his intimate secrets.

The wicked walk under God’s constant curse, but godly lovers walk under a stream of his blessing, for they seek to do what is right. If you walk with the mockers you will learn to mock, but God’s grace and favour flow to the meek. (Prov 3:31)

I remember watching a young guy with Downs syndrome wanting approval from a gang. Basically all the gang members just used this young guy for their entertainment in the most horrible of ways.

That’s just how we can be in this world if we don’t realise who we ARE in Christ!

Lord open my eyes to see just how much You approve of me and that I don’t need to seek affirmation from any other source. X

Friday

(Jesus speaking) “So this is my command: Love each other deeply, as much as I have loved you. For the greatest love of all is a love that sacrifices all. And this great love is demonstrated when a person sacrifices his life for his friends.

“You show that you are my intimate friends when you obey all that I command you.” (John 15:12)

It was great love that drew us first to Jesus and the understanding of what great love is to keep us here.

It’s time to pray. Thank you Jesus x
